Getting Started with Cephable Personal

After you download & install Cephable and create your user account, you'll be guided into an quick onboarding preview in Cephable's main window. You can try out the different inputs to find what works best for you. You can try voice controls, head movements, face expressions, and more. Click "Try Voice Control"

The Cephable main window is in the center of the screen where more in depth settings and configurations can be set for all app functions. Context for each button press and click will be provided in each step.

Then, you'll see that your microphone toggles on in your Cephable panel. Once your microphone is turned on - try using the voice command "larger" or "bold" to see it working in the main window.

Once you have tried out the different inputs, click "Continue with Voice Control" in the main window "to get started using your own app controls.

To add your first controls, you can search for different apps by name or description in the main window.

You can preview the controls for a specific app like Microsoft Word, or create your own from scratch by clicking "Preview", "Add App Controls" or "Create from Scratch" in the main window.

Once you preview or add new App Controls, clicking on a specific control will expand it to show you the details of the different commands and gestures that it uses.

In this command for Microsoft Word, you can say "open document" or "document" to have Cepable open a new document with only your voice. Click again to collapse the view or edit from here too.

You can add custom app controls for Microsoft Word to your account, but all the default app controls are already ready to use. Click "Add App Controls"

Once you've tried using different inputs and explored app controls, you can continue to your dashboard. Click "Continue to Cephable Dashboard"

In the panel on the right side of your screen, you can start and stop your voice controls and camera controls at any time by clicking the toggle.

You can collapse these views to simplify what you see for each section of the panel.

In the panel, you can expand your current app controls to view the details at any time.

You can swap your app controls from clicking "Swap Controls" in the panel to jump to the main window.

Clicking the drop down box in the main window will show you your list of available app controls to choose from.

You can add new app controls at any time or edit the ones that are already there. Click "Add App Controls"

Now with your app controls ready, you can explore your other settings, preferences, and options as well as use your controls from the Cephable panel in your apps and games.
