Getting a Direct URL from an H5P Activity

You will need to locate the H5P activity you wish to share first. In the bar at the bottom of the H5P activity, click **"Embed"**.

Select and copy all of the text in the "embed code" field.

You now have a long embed code stored on your Clipboard, but you don't need all of it. Paste the content somewhere where you can see and edit it (a Word document is a good option). It will look like this:

The part you need (the direct URL) is found within the long embed code, and is wrapped in quotation marks. Select and copy just that URL (without the ""). In this case, the direct URL is: <https://openpress.usask.ca/h5pworkshop/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=h5p_embed&id=1>

That's it! You now have the direct URL to the activity, which can be sent to whomever you wish to share it with.
