Global controls allow you to control things on your device with just your voice. So anytime your microphone is toggled on, you can switch listening modes, open and close apps, or even update camera controls with just your voice... and much more!

The following series of images in this Scribe include a screenshot of a PC desktop with the Cephable Panel (small window on the right side of the screen with toggles for microphone & camera controls, a summary of app controls for the relevant app, and a menu of global & device controls). The Cephable main window is in the center of the screen where more in depth settings and configurations can be set for all app functions. Apps like Word & Edge also pop on screen with specific controls. Context for each button press, app, and click will be provided in each step.

Click "Start Microphone"

Click "Desktop"

Say "Open Word" and Microsoft Word will open. Cephable will also verify the command was completed with a notification in the bottom right corner of your screen.

Click "Page 1"

Now Cephable will type what you say and paste it into a document where your cursor is focused.

Say "Stop Listening" to use the global controls to pause your microphone

Click "Pause Voice Controls stop listening"

Click "Edit" in the main window

Click "Add another input"

Click "Save"
