Granting, Accessing, and Reviewing SiS UShare Guest Access

This guide outlines a simple process for granting guest access to SiS, covering account setup and login steps. It helps users manage guest access efficiently, supporting collaboration and resource sharing.

Granting UShare Guess Access

Navigate to [uml.edu/sis](https://uml.edu/sis), then click on **Grant Addl Acct Access**

Tip! If you see the old interface, click **Mobile Student Center** to switch to the new view.

Click **Add.** Enter the required information. Only the student can create or change a UShare guest access password.

Tip! The User ID is automatically generated from the guest email address and cannot be changed. Use only the User ID to login, not the email.

Choose which information to share. You can select individual modules, or click the options at the top to grant access to **All Functions**, all **Academics**, or all **Finances**.

Once module selections have been selected, click **Save** on the bottom-right of the page.

Logging into UShare Guest Access

Return to the [SiS UShare page](https://www.uml.edu/it/enterprise-applications/sis-ushare.aspx), then click **Login to SiS UShare**.

The guest should enter their User ID and provided password, then click **Sign In**.

Guests should be met with a similar screen.

Tip! Depending on what modules were selected, the guest's options on this screen could vary.

Reviewing UShare Guest Access

Tip! Guests will be able to view information and make payments using their own access. Each student retains full control over their guest’s account, including the username, password, and the specific screens the guest can access.

Click on **Student Academics** to see the student’s academic summary, showing their programs, certificates, and expected graduation term, along with links to academic tools like transcript, course history, and enrollment verification.

Click **Finance and Financial Aid** to view billing and Financial Aid information. This is also where bills can be paid. The **Holds and Alerts** option section displays any "service indicators" that may be applied to the student (i.e., Immunization Hold, Advising Hold, etc.)

The **To Do List** displays items for which the University is awaiting responses.

The **Admissions** option shows the current admissions status of the student and transfer credit information.

**Student Schedule** shows the current class schedule and can be customized to show specific days of classes.

**Grades** shows all final grades for all semester completed by the student. Click a semester to see grades.
