BEFORE MOVING FORWARD!: You must join the ESI Academy by completing the [registration form](https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=YdN2fXeCCEekd2ToNmzRvPs8AXG4wdpEjLz8BOZ8wZJUNDQwOVNRUDU3TDYwMzYzM0cyTDNLTU1JRC4u).
Updating your Profile in Prism

Navigate to [https://prism.northwestern.edu/](https://prism.northwestern.edu/)

Click "Log in"

Enter your NU NetID and Password. Then click "Submit"

Click the dropdown arrow here.

Click "Profile"

Under "Settings" on the left, Click "Profile". Then under "Preferences" section, Click the "Public" field under "Profile Visibility."
The ESI Academy community in Prism is "restricted" meaning it is not open to the public and you must be invited to join. Selecting "public" for profile visibility allows your account/email to be viewable when sending invites to join in the system.

Click "Update preferences"
Receiving & Accepting your Prism Invitation to Join

Once the steps above are complete, email Morgan Barrowman[morgan.barrowman@northwestern.edu](mailto:morgan.barrowman@northwestern.edu) indicating that your Prism profile is set to public and you are ready for the invite.

Within a few days of sending the email to Morgan, you should receive an invitation via email from Galter Prism ([prism@northwestern.edu](mailto:prism@northwestern.edu)). Please make sure to **accept** this invite at your earliest convenience as it will expire in 30 days.
You can also access your invitation by 1) Logging into Prism 2) Click "My Dashboard" 3) Click "Requests" 4) Click "Accept" to join the "NUCATS Early-Stage Investigator (ESI) Academy."
Locating the Community as a Member

Log into Prism and select "Communities" at the top of the page. NUCATS Early Stage Investigator (ESI) Academy should be listed under "my communities."
All resources and recordings should now be viewable within the community.
