1
Navigate and login to Surfguard:[https://surfguard.sls.com.au/](https://surfguard.sls.com.au/_/SLSA_Members/modules/home/newDashboard.php)
2
Click "Menu"

Click "Officers"
LIMSOC automatically grants access based on what is in Surfguard. The positions recognised are: 1. ADMINISTRATION 2. LIFESAVING 3. PRESIDENT
LIMSOC only recognises national positions! If a club or state has created a role with the same name, it will not grant access.
4
For example, below a duplicate entry has been added to a club. Only the National position is reconised.
5
To add an officer to a position, click new
6
Find the member to grant the officer position to
The user must be a current member of the club or will not appear in this list.
7
Enter the start and finish date of the officer role.
If the officer position is out of date, LIMSOC immediately removes the members access including their standard LIMSOC access. This can affect members that have stepped down from a role the previous season.
8
Click "Submit" Note: none of the checkboxes down the bottom are required for LIMSOC and are a club preference only.
9
Once the officer positions are correct head over to the SLSQ clubs gateway at <https://clubs.lifesaving.com.au/>

If you are part of multiple clubs, they will appear in this drop down.
Members Correctly added via Surfguard will appear with a green tick.
12

All members in SLSQ are visible in the drop down. If there are multiple people with the same name, you will need to confirm against their members ID found in Surfguard.
13

15

Club admins: If a member correctly appears in this list with LIMSOC ticked, but cannot log in, it is likely the member needs to reset their password in the SLSA hub. Admins should refer them to the HUB in the first instance.
