HeroHQ: How to Submit a New Maintenance Request

Click "Create". You may see multiple options in this dropdown menu if your organization/school district owns multiple OperationsHero Solutions. For a new Work Order Request, click "New Request."

Make sure your name shows in the "Requester" dropdown menu.

Click on the "Category" dropdown menu. Select the type of work order you are submitting. If you start typing, the dropdown menu will narrow down to only present options that match your text.

You may see a location already selected in the "Location" dropdown menu. If you do, and it is the correct location of your work request, you may move on. If you don't, or if the location is not the correct location of your work request, then open the dropdown menu and select the correct location where your work needs to be done.

Enter the Description/Summary of your problem, along with the Directions/Room to indicate where the technician needs to go.

Click the "Extra Notes" field to add any additional information that would be helpful on the work request.

If you have anything you would like to attach to this work request, such as a photograph of the work that needs to be done, you may do so in the Attachments section.

Click "Save Request" to submit your work order request.

Managing Emails Received

Tip! If you would like to change the emails you receive, follow the steps below.

Click on your name in the top right corner of the screen. Then click on "User Profile."

Select which email notifications you would like enabled in your account. Turn them on/off by clicking on the blue toggle switch.
