How Caregivers Log Into NextPath

This guide introduces how caregivers log in and claim their child(ren). If you are sharing a link with caregivers so they can take Glimpses or access any Document that has been shared with them, this guide will show you what the caregiver will experience when logging in for the first time.

Nextpath

From any device (phone, computer, or tablet) with an internet browser, caregivers can go to [nextpath.app](//nextpath.app) Caregivers can log in securely and easily by selecting their Gmail or Microsoft Outlook or another email account shared with the district.

**If their email is not with Google or Microsoft**: Enter email address, and they'll receive a one-time "magic link" to access your account. If using a different email provider, click "Log in with email" If using Google or Microsoft, they'll just click and select their email.

**For other email providers only**: Caregivers enter the email address shared with the district

**For other email providers only**: After entering the email, click the arrow button. A one-time "magic link" will be sent to their email, allowing them to log in securely.

An email has been sent to the provided email.

They open the email from NextPath

They click "Sign in to NextPath"

Once signed into NextPath, they click "Next" to begin confirming some information about their child

They enter the child's birthday

They enter the first initial of the child's first name

They enter the first initial of the child's last name and select "Finish"

When the provided information matches the school records, this will appear to confirm that their child has been successfully linked to their account.

Alert! They will be prompted to confirm the initials and birthdays for all their children enrolled in the district before finishing.

This indicates that the verification process is complete, and they can now access their information in NextPath. Any documents requiring attention will be displayed. Otherwise, they will be taken into NextPath.

If the caregiver needs to take a Glimpse (assigned to their child's school/grade) or wants to access their profile to view Documents, they can select the student.

If they are filling out a questionnaire, they click "Start"

They can navigate back and finish the Glimpse later.

Click here to access information for their child

Documents will be visible here. They can select another student by changing the child's name.
