How To Add/Update Your Student's Cell Phone Number to Get ParentSquare Messages

This guide provides essential steps for parents to update their student's cell phone number in the ParentVUE system, ensuring they receive important messages through ParentSquare.

Navigate to [**https://rcsvue.rochester.k12.mi.us**](https://rcsvue.rochester.k12.mi.us)

Click "I am a parent"

Click "Student Info"

Click "Edit Information"

Find the "Student Phone" section and click/enter a phone number in the "Changed Value" box

Make sure the Phone Type is switched to "Student"

Make sure the "Contact Phone" checkbox is checked.

Alert! A student's phone number must be marked as "Student" and the Contact Phone box must be checked, or the information will not transfer to ParentSquare.

Click "Save Changes"

Alert! It will take 24-48 hours for your changes to appear in the ParentSquare system once you update ParentVUE
