How To Add A New Employee In Toast POS

Navigate to [https://www.toasttab.com](https://www.toasttab.com/restaurants/admin/home?utm_content=left_rail)

Click "Employees"

Click "+ Add New Employee"

Click "No" on "invite to create account"

Enter a first name

Enter a last name

Click on and enter a "POS access code". It can be any number between 3-8 digits.

Click the "Select a job" dropdown.

Click "Team Member"

While not mandatory, entering a number in the "Pay" field will allow Toast to automatically calculate your % of labor reports.

Click "Add". At this point your new employee is immediately ready to clock in and begin their shift.
