How To Add A Student To Your Account

Follow these steps to add additional students to your PowerSchool account.

After creating your PowerSchool parent profile with one student, you can link additional student(s). Start in your [PowerSchool](https://cvsd.powerschool.com) account in a web browser then follow these quick steps.

Click "Account Preferences" in the navigation menu.

Tip! If you are accessing this on a mobile phone, the navigation menu may be collapsed or hidden. Click on the small arrow on the upper left of the screen to reveal the navigation menu.

Click "Students"

Click "Add Student"

Enter the student's first and last name. Then the Access ID, which is his or her Student ID with three 9s on the end. (For example, if the ID is 127782, the Access ID is 127782999.) Then enter the Access Password, which is their birthday, with leading zeros, plus 999 on the end. (For example, for February 29, 2007 it would be: 02292007999.) Click "OK".
