Log into Wordpress with your unique credentials.

From the dashboard, click "Pages" in the left side menu.

Click "Edit"

That will open the EVENTS page for editing. Click "Container" to add a new container at the top. (if for some reason it places it elsewhere, you can drag and drop by clicking and holding down on the blue header) This will open a new window where you'll want to select the format for your container. For events, 1/1 is usually sufficient. If you select 1/2, you'll have two columns to add information to.

Once the container is added, Click "Element".

This will allow you to select the item you'd like to add. The most common for events are "Title" , "Text Block", "Image", and "Button". For this demonstration, I've selected Text Block first.

When the text block opens, you'll be able to type in your event description. Click the blue save button at the bottom to save your text.

Click "Element" to add another component of your event details.

If you choose to add an image, you'll need to upload it by clicking "Upload Image".

You can also select images from previously uploaded media.

Click "Design" to format your image.

Click "Center" (or whichever alignment option you prefer)

Click "SAVE" to add the image.

We'll continue repeating the process of adding elements until all the information has been added. To add a registration button, Click "Element".

Click "Button"

Paste in the registration URL in the Button URL box.

Add Register Now to the button text field.

Click "\_blank" to force the registration button to open in another browser window.

Click "Center" or whatever alignment option you prefer.

Click "SAVE" to save the entire button to your event information.

You can also add an Event Title using the Title element and follow the previous steps.

Your container will look similar to below once you have added your elements.

Click "Preview" to see what the page will look like. Once it is finalized, click update to save changes and push the event live on your website.
