How To Apply For Housing And Create Roommate Group

This guide provides a step-by-step process for applying for housing and forming a roommate group at the University of Evansville. A $75 non-refundable housing registration fee is due after you submit your application. You will not receive a housing selection appointment if you do not pay the housing registration fee.

Navigate to [https://evansville.erezlife.com/login/.](https://evansville.erezlife.com/login/) Select "Apply for Housing" under "Recommended Actions."

Click "Apply now"

Read through and answer the questions on the housing application.

Select the "Academic Year 2025-2026" option.

Rank your building preferences.

Continue answering the questions on the housing application.

In the roommate sections, provide an answer for yourself and then for what you are looking for in a roommate.

Click "Save and continue"

Click "terms & conditions file" to review the housing contract.

Click "I have opened, read, understood, and agree to the enclosed terms..."

Click the "I declare all information I have disclosed throughout this application process is correct" field.

Click "Submit application"

Click "Housing overview"

Click "My roommate profile"

Fill in information about yourself.

Decide what information you would like to share with potential roommates such as name(s) and roommate matching fields. This is used to help find potential roommates.

Add any social media names that you wish to share then click "Save"

Click "Roommate search" to look for potential roommates. Students need to have completed their housing application and turned on their roommate profile to be searchable.

To form a roommate group - click "Roommate groups"

Click "Create new roommate group"

Click the "Group name *" field.

Click "Members (maximum allowed: 6)"

Click this text field and enter full the UE email address of your desired roommate(s).

Click "Save". An invitation to join your roommate group will be sent to those you listed. Each roommate will need to accept your initiation to be part of your roommate group.
