How To Bulk Reset Users Passwords On Your School Portal

How perform a bulk password reset for specific user roles (as a super-admin).

Schoolsfocus

Click "Admin"

Click "Settings"

Click "Security"

Click "Hard Reset Passwords"

Click "Target User Categories" dropdown

Select the user types you want to bulk-change their passwords

Click the "Enter new password for all selected users" field and input the new password

Click the "Re-enter the new password" field and re-enter the new password

**Optionally** you can enable the "Also require users to update their password on next login".\ \ If this is enabled, then the users will be required to set their own individual passwords by the next time they log in using the general password you set now.

Click "Reset Passwords Now"

Click "Yes, reset now"
