How To Check Your Waitlist Status And Set Up Text Notification in MyLane

Log into your MyLane Account. In the Student Records section, scroll down until you see Waitlist Status.

Click "Waitlist Status"

On the Waitlist Status Page, you can see the classes you have waitlisted for. Here you can see that I have waitlisted for Introduction to Business in Summer term. I am currently in position 3 of 4 in the line for a seat. Students only get a 12 hour window to register for a waitlist course once a seat becomes available. Students receive an Email when a seat is available for them. It is imperative to always check your Lane Email multiple times during the day so that you do not miss this 12 hour window. You can also see that I missed registering for my Waitlisted course Business Proofreading and Editing. Don't let this happen to you.

You can also opt into having a text message sent to your mobile phone by completing the process below the waitlist. You will provide you mobile phone number and submit. You will then receive a verification code to your mobile phone that you will enter in the verification field. and click Submit Verification Code. You have now setup text notification.
