How To Create New Academic Sessions/Periods On Your School Portal

Navigate to your school portal and sign in as admin

Click the "Admin" menu-group

Click the "Settings" menu

Click the "Academic Sessions" tab

Click "Create New Academic Session"

Select the Year the academic session/period starts as well as the year it stops/ends.\ \ (In the example below, I selected the same year as both the start and end years since the academic period runs for just some months in same year. If it runs across two different calendar years, you should select the both years accordingly).

If applicable, provide a name for the academic session/period (E.g. Summer, Fall, Jan-Apr, etc.).\ \ Click "Add" to save the academic period/session.

If you have other academic sessions/periods to add, you may proceed to add them.\ \ For instance, I added another session (Jan-Apr) for the same calendar year.

Click "Close" when done
