Navigate and log into Powerteacher Pro: <https://monson.powerschool.com/teachers/index.html#/classes/assignments?sectionId=6513>

Select the "Create" button

Select "Assignment"

Click the "Assignment Name" field and title your assignment.

Click "Select Classes" dropdown Menu to assign the assignment to one or multiple courses.

Select the box to assign the assignment to courses.

Click "Select Category" from the drop-down menu (formative or summative).

Click on the calendar icon to input a due date. (This is vital for grading. The due date needs to fall within the term dates).

Select the due date from the calendar.

Click the down arrow to select how you want the assignment scored - points vs. percentage, etc.

Click "Points"

Enter the point value for the assignment.

Click "Students" to unassign or assign assignments to specific students (This is a great feature for those students that require modified assignments).

Click "Publish"

Click the drop-down arrow to publish the assignment.

Select when you would like the assignment published to the Powerschool Student/Parent portal.

Select the check box if you would like to publish scores once you enter them in your score sheet.

Click "Save and Close"

To input the grades for the assignment you created, navigate to "A+ Grading".

Click "Scoresheet"

Find the assignment column you wish to grade. Select the field next to the student's name and use your grade calculator to enter the numeric grade the student earned. Select Save.
