How To Register for Aspen Access as a Student

This guide provides a step-by-step process for students to register for Aspen Access, so that they can take advantage of exclusive discounts on educational materials.

Before you begin, make sure you have: \ ✅ A valid **.edu email address** to create an Aspen Publishing account\ ✅ Access to your **email inbox** for verification\ ✅ A course link from your professor

### **1. Navigate to the Aspen Access Program Page** Go to: [**https://aspenpublishing.com/pages/aspen-access-program**](https://aspenpublishing.com/pages/aspen-access-program) 🔹 If your professor provided a direct Aspen Access link, you may start from there.\ 🔹 Already have an Aspen account? **Log in and skip to Step 8.** Click **Register**.

### **2. Fill in Your Registration Information** 1. Enter your **First Name** and **Last Name** 2. Enter your **.edu email address** - 🔔 *You must use and verify a .edu email to access the Aspen Access discount.* 3. Create a **Password** that includes: - At least **8 characters** - At least **1 uppercase letter** - At least **1 lowercase letter** - At least **1 number** - At least **1 special character**

### **3. Complete Account Setup** 1. Re-enter your password 2. Under **Customer Type**, select **Law Student** 3. Search and select your **school** 4. Check the box to agree to the **Terms of Use**

### **4. Click “Register”** Click the **Register** button to proceed.

⚠️ **Important:** You **MUST** complete the **.edu** email verification step in order to unlock the Aspen Access discounts. \ *If you skip this step, you will not see the discounted pricing.*

### **5. Verify Your Email Address** 1. Check your **email inbox** for a verification code - 📥 *Also check your spam or junk folder*

### **6. Enter Verification Code** 1. Enter the code you received via email 2. Click **Verify**

### **7. Proceed to Aspen Access** Once verification is successful, click **Continue**.

### **8. Locate Your Professor’s Course Page** You can: - Use the **search bar** to find your course - Or click **View Course Titles** if your course appears automatically

### **9. View Discounted Pricing** On the course page, you'll see: - **Discounted price** in **red** - **Original price** crossed out in **black** Click **Quick Shop** to begin your purchase.

### **10. Choose Product Format (if applicable)** If multiple formats are available (e.g., print, eBook), select the desired one.\ Click **Add to Cart**.

### **11. Continue Shopping (Optional)** To purchase additional Aspen Access items: - Repeat **Steps 8–10** for each additional course - Discounts and **free shipping** apply to Aspen Access items

### **12. Click “View Cart”** After adding all items, click **View Cart** to review your order.

### **13. Click “Checkout”** Proceed to checkout when you’re ready.

### **14. Complete Your Purchase** Enter your payment and shipping information to finalize your order.\ 🎉 You’re all set! You’ll receive a confirmation email once the purchase is complete.
