How To Remove Students from a course roster (with or without End Date).

Click "Scheduling & Courses"

Click "Requests & Rosters"

Click "Filter" to find the students we need to remove.

Students will be "inactive" until the first day of the term, so check the box if doing this prior to the start of the school year.

Under Course Roster, find the name of the course where the students are rostered.

Select the appropriate section where students are rostered.

Review the Filter Results, and click "Close"

Click "Batch Edit Student Rosters"

Click the "Course Number or Name" field to find the course we need to remove these students from. In this example, students will be unrostered from their Health class.

Click on the name of the course below to select it.

Use the drop down field to find the section that you need to remove them from.
Alert! If the term has already started, you must enter an End Date to avoid losing attendance data.

Enter End Date if students are being removed *after* the term has started.

Click "Add" (because we are adding an End Date)

Review confirmation window and click "Continue"
Tip! You can use the "Copy to Clipboard" button to Copy and Paste the full list of students in a separate document for review.

Click "Close" after viewing the completion window.
