How To Set Up New Journal Alerts

Interested in being notified when a new issue of your favorite journal comes out? Now you can! Follow this guide to receive emails immediately when new issues are released. If you need additional assistance, please contact library@kcai.edu.

Navigate to [https://www.kcai.edu/library](https://www.kcai.edu/student-life/campus-amenities/jannes-library/)

Click "DISCOVERY Catalog"

Click in the top right to log into your MyEbsco Account. Click "Sign in to MyEBSCO"

When you are fully logged in and back to the main EDS page, click "Publications".

Click the "Search for publications" field.

Type in the journal you are searching for. In this example, I will be creating alerts for Film Quarterly.

Click on the journal title.

Click this icon with three dots.

Click "Create alert"

Click the "Email address" field and type in your own email address.

Click "Create alert"

Click "Close"

You're done! If you would like to see what alerts you have in place, you can view them by going to the Alerts section on "My Dashboard".
