How To Set Up the Comparison Tool Webpart

Once you are in page edit mode, click into the webpart and select the **Edit Properties** button or **Configure** to set up the Comparison Tool webpart.

A form will pop up on the right side of your screen.

Basic Settings

Select the Basic Settings drop down.

**List Location** - Choose between "This Site" or "hubley Config Site". Most of the time, you will select "**This Site**" and choose an existing list (or click Create New List to create a new one). \ \ You may have one Comparison Tool list or many lists; depending on how you're using the webpart.

If you already have a list created for your webpart, **select the list** from the dropdown menu.

If there is not already an available list, click "**Create New List**" and let the webpart do the work for you!

Design Settings

Click the drop down to expand the Design Settings.

First, you'll be able to choose an **Accent Color** for your Comparison Tool table. The Accent Color will serve as the primary design color for your Comparison Tool table. You will be able to choose your own color or select from your company's preset Brand Colors.

You can also enable or disable the **“Alternate Body Color”** setting. Enabling this setting creates more of a *tabbed* experience. The main Topic will display with the body color applied, while the Subject and Details information will appear without the color. Disabling this setting places more focus on the first-column comparison, making it easier to distinguish between subjects. Without an alternate body color, the entire first column will display in the selected accent color.
