Sign-in to Microsoft Account Manager

Navigate to [https://myaccount.microsoft.com/](https://myaccount.microsoft.com/?ref=MeControl) and sign in.
Update Your Authentication Methods

In the Security Info card, click "Update info"
Adding a new Authentication Method

Click "Add sign-in method"
Before adding a new Authentication Method. You will be required to sign in with alternative authentication method first.

In this example, I chose to receive a text code.

Click the "Code" field and enter in the code you received.

Click "Microsoft Authenticator"

Click "Next"
Please install the Official Microsoft Authenticator from your device's official app store before proceeding. If you already have it installed, please continue.

On your device in the Microsoft Authenticator app, when adding a new account, be sure to select "Work or School".

Click "Next"

Scan the code with your Microsoft Authenticator app, then click "Next"

Click "Next"

Now you will see your new Authentication Method.

Here you can see the Model of the device you have just enrolled.
Deleting an Authentication Method

Click "Delete" next to the Authentication Method you wish to remove.

Click "Ok" in the confirmation pop-up.
Changing your Preferred Default Authentication Method

Click "Change"

Click the dropdown box.

From the dropdown, select the method that you would like for your sign-in to default to.

Click "Confirm"

On the top right, you will see a prompt confirming: "Your default sign-in method was updated"
