How To Use Perpetual Grid Trading on Helix

Navigate to [https://helixapp.com](//helixapp.com), connect you wallet on the top right corner of the page.

To begin using perpetual grid trading on Helix, you will need to make sure you have funds in your Injective wallet first. Click "Deposit" to follow the guide if you are a first-time user. Once funds are deposited onto Injective, you are ready to set up your own grid trading strategy.

**Head to your preferred perpetual market.** Go to the "Markets" page and select the perpetual market where you would like to set up the Perpetual Grid Trading Bot. In this tutorial, we will use INJ/USDT PERP as an example. Click "INJ/USDT PERP" on the Markets page.

**Next, define the lower and upper price range.** Determine the minimum and maximum price at which the bot should execute trades. The bot will then place buy and sell orders only within this range. In this example, we input 14.5 USDT as the preferred lower price range.

Then input 16.5 USDT as the preferred higher price range which the bot will operate.

**Choose the number of grids.** Grids stand for the price levels which the trading bot will place the orders on behalf of you. Here you need to decide on the number of grid points or price levels within the pre-defined range where the bot will place orders. The bot will evenly space these grid points within your price limits. The number you enter must be between 3-150. In this tutorial we will use 100 grid for the strategy. The higher the number of grids means the more limit orders the bot will place on behalf of you. More limit orders increases the chances of capturing the price movements but also increases the minimum amount of initial capital required.

**Enter the amount of input in the strategy.** Enter the amount in USDT you want to allocate to the strategy. The minimum USDT amount required to run this grid strategy is 10 USDT. In this tutorial we will use 100 USDT.

**Pick the leverage.** Choose the leverage for the position created by the bot. For example, with INJ/USDT PERP, you can choose up to 30x leverage.

**Create a strategy.** Once you fully understand each of the parameters and complete the setting, click "Create Strategy" to proceed with the grid order confirmation. Congrats! You have just created your own bot. You can review running details directly at the panel on the right side.

**Review Details.** You can click "Details" to view your strategy details.

**End the bot.** Click "Remove Strategy" to stop the grid strategy. Running orders will be canceled and all profits will be settled immediately at market price and transferred back to your wallet.
