Getting on to Parent Portal

Navigate to [https://www.sdst.org/](https://www.sdst.org/)

Click "Resources"

Click "Parents"

Click "PowerSchool Parent Portal"

Input your Parent Portal credentials and then click "Sign In"
Alert! If you do not know your Parent Portal credentials, contact your child's school.
Getting on to MyPowerHub

Once in the portal, scroll down and click on the "MyPowerHub" icon.

You will now be in MyPowerHub
Overview of MyPowerHub

Welcome to MyPowerHub!

Check out School messenger, click on "Go to inbox".

See messages from your child's School(s) and District.

Click "Grades" to see you child's current grades.

Click on a class to see assignments

Click the arrow to go back to MyPowerHub main page.

Click "Assignments" to see your child's current assignments.

Click "Missing" to see if there are any missing assignments.

Click "Calendar" to see your child's school calendar.

Click display class schedule to see the class schedule.

Click "Attendance" to see attendance for the year.

Click "Attendance overview"

This will show you your Child's attendance.

Click "Attendance" again to access Safe Arrival through MyPowerHub.

Click "SafeArrival attendance"

Click "Report absence" to put in an absence without having to go to SchoolMessenger.

Fill in required information and press save.

Click "Directory" to search for staff emails.

Click the "Name" field and type name of staff member.

Click on staff member to get email address.

Click this icon to copy email address.

Click "Resource links"

See "Health" for information about the health department and access the health portal.

See "Support Service" for information about attendance, school records, student handbooks and more.

See "Transportation" for bus schedules and access to EZrouting.
