How to Add Attachment to Notes (Order, RMA, AR)

This guide provides a step-by-step process for efficiently adding attachments to various notes related to orders, RMAs, and accounts receivable. It emphasizes important tips, such as file size limitations and the maximum number of attachments.

Tip! Ensure your intended attachment is saved on your computer/network.

Tip! Add important photos, email copies, screenshots to support more complicated interactions and communications.

In create/update Order page: Click "Drop down to Select"

Click "Notes/Attachments"

Click "Create/Update Order"

Click "Browse"

Navigate to file that is to be attached.

Click to highlight and then click OPEN.

Click "Upload"

Click "Save"

Alert! No more than 3 attachments should be added to any note or conversation. Additionally, pay close attention to the SIZE of the attachment. Do not attach files larger than 5MB.

To access/view attachment: From notes/attachments, Click "View".

Click on download arrow and select file.

Tip! Additional note areas to add attachments (attachments may also be added to credit and rebills, purchase orders, etc.)

Click on Header Notes/Attachments in the RMA.

Click "Add"

Click "Browse"

Navigate to file that is to be attached.

Click to highlight and then click OPEN.

Click "Upload"

Confirm attachment displays as attached file.

Click "Save"

Add Conversation attachment in "Collections Workbench". From Items Tab:

Click box(s) to select associated invoices.

Click "Drop down"

Click "Tie to New conversation" or "last conversation".

Click "GO"

Add required description (what is the topic of this note).

Click "attachments" tab.

Click "Attach"

Click "Browse"

Navigate to file that is to be attached.

Click to highlight and then click OPEN.

Click "Upload"

Click "OK". Ensure all required fields are populated.

Click "Comments". Add appropriate Note details.

Click "Apply" or "OK". This saves the note and attachment.

To view notes/attachments in AR: Click "Note bubble"

OR after clicking note bubble: Click "Notepad open"

Click "Attachments" Tab

Click "View"

Select file from download arrow.
