How to Insert One Cell in Google Sheets

Sign in to your Google account and go to [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11yQjHlR4yOj2gag5r98eh2RO4n2HyQOptMRENdhhltU/edit?gid=1564491323#gid=1564491323)

Open the sheet where you want to add a new cell.

Click on the cell where you wish to add a new one.

Right-click the cell.

Click or hover over the ”Insert cells" option.

Select an option between “Insert cells and shift right” or “Insert cells and shift down.” In this example, I chose to insert a cell and shift right. This means all the cells next to this one will be shifted to the right.

Now, the new cell is inserted and the previous ones are shifted to the right.

Here, I will try the option "Insert cells and shift down"

Now, the new cell is inserted, and all the cells in that column are shifted one cell down.

How to Insert Multiple Cells in Google Sheets
