How to Add Donations During a Paddle Raise/Fund a Need & Allowing Bidders to Add Their Own Donations

Go to Items > Manage Items and click into your Donation item.

Make sure your Denominations in this item match what your Auctioneer will be asking for the night of your event.

Click Projected Display Settings. If you are using the Appeal Display at your event, makes sure all settings here look accurate and click to copy the Appeal Display link and send this to your AV Team.

Navigate to Event Central > Butler or type in cbo.io/butler in your browser. Click the donation item showing under the Appeal section of the Butler.

Use the text box for each denomination to type in the bidder paddle numbers that are being raised at your event. Option to write down the bidder paddle numbers and add them into the corresponding denominations after the Paddle Raise/Fund a Need. (Only if you are not displaying the Appeal Display.)
We always recommend having a spotter or two who write down bid paddle numbers so you can cross check your entries after the Fund a Need/Paddle Raise.

Use the "Placeholder" button for each denomination if you missed the bid paddle number being called.

This displays as "Anonymous" on the display. Remember to delete the Placeholder after the Fund a Need/Paddle Raise and add the correct number based on recorded bid numbers from spotters.

View the Total Raised so far in the bottom right corner of your page.

Allowing Bidders to Add Their Own Bids on the Bidding Site

Ask your bidders to sign into their bidding site and click the blue Donate Button shown at the top of their page to donate to the item.

The denominations in the item will display as suggested giving amounts and will allow donors to choose any denomination at any time.
