How to Add File / URL Content to Moodle

Adding a File

Navigate to your[Moodle course](https://moodle.adelphi.edu/).

Click the "Edit mode" to turn on editing.

To add a file click "Add an activity or resource"

Click the "Search" field and type "File".

Select the "File" activity type

Click the "Name" field and enter a name.

Click here to enter a description.

Click here to upload a file.

Click the "Choose File" field.

After choosing your file, click "Upload this file".

Click "Save and Return to Course"

To add a URL click "Add an activity or resource"

Adding a URL

Click the "Search" field and type URL.

Click "URL"

Click the "Name" field and enter a title for the URL.

Click the "External URL" field to enter the URL.

Click here to enter a description.

Click "Save and Return to course"

You will see that your resources are now on the course page.
