Click on the formula icon on the far right of the ribbon.

Click "SUM."

Click on the uppermost square that you'd like to include in your addition.

Hold shift and click on the lowermost value you'd like to include in the addition. This will include all of the cells in between.

Type "[[enter]]" to generate the sum.
