How to Add a Stormwater Facility Inspection Record

As a part of continued maintenance responsibilities, owners must perform an annual inspection that logs maintenance and repairs performed and current owner contact information. Submit the report along with a current photo to the Wentzville Stormwater Division by August 31 each year to avoid compliance enforcement. How to Find Your Facility

Tip! You can pan to your site location using your mouse or you can use the search tool by typing in the address, property owner name, street name or subdivision name.

Click the search button, at the right of widgets at the bottom.

Type in address, property owner name, street name or subdivision name to search and select your location.

How to Find Your Facility's Information

Tip! You can find info such as most recent inspection date, plans, operation and maintenance plan, legal documents

Click a facility to see its information.

The attribute table pops up, showing ID, facility type, nearest address, etc.

Close the attribute table

How to Add an Inspection

Click the Edit widget, (First button at the bottom center of screen.)

Click Select.

Click the facility you want to inspect.

Alert! Please be aware that you will need to do an inspection for each facility separately.

The Edit window shows up.

Scroll to find and click "Add record"

Tip! You can also see past records here. Inspections prior to 2025 are being added to the system and will be available.

The inspection form is now open for you to start your inspection.

Tip! Please contact the Stormwater Division at (636) 327-5101 with any questions about the inspection.

At the bottom of the form, Click Attachment, + add to add photos.

Click "Create" to submit your inspection.

Tip! You can confirm that it was submitted by looking at the Facility Inspection Records. We are working on a way to be able to save/print the records for your own files.

Close the edit widget.

Other Useful Tools

Tip! You can request a site visit for inspection training by selecting the button in the top right corner of the screen.

Map Layers. You can change the visibility of layers by selecting the second widget at the bottom of the screen and clicking on the eye button.

The map legend can be found by selecting the third widget at the bottom of the screen.
