Go to the old assignment you want to copy.

Click on the settings.

Copy the information you need and save specific settings and dates.

Finally, delete the old assignment after you've saved everything you need somewhere safe.
How to Create a Turnitin LTI Assignment

Ensure the "Edit mode" is turned on.

Double-click "Add an activity or resource".

Search and click "Turnitin LTI".

Click "Select content".
The "Select content" button may produce the error message:\ *"The connection is blocked because it was initiated by a public page to connect to devices or servers on your local network."*

If you experience the above issue, after entering the "Activity name" ONLY, and please proceed to the step to "Save and Display"

Enter in a title for the assignment.

Click on the calendars to specify a date.

Click here to modify submission settings.

Once all settings are setup, create the assignment.

Click "Save and display" to save and display the assignment.

Once the page reloads, you will see the Assignment Inbox.

Clicking the gear wheel brings you to additional settings.

You can adjust Max Grade, Start and End Dates, as well a when Feedback is released to students.

Click "Optional Settings" to open the menu.

Here you can adjust the submission settings, as well as how and when the Similarity Report is generated.

Click "Save these settings for future use" if you would you like to save these options as your defaults for future assignments.

Click "Submit" when you are finished.
