How to Add an iCal Connection

An iCal connection is a basic connection where we send availability. The purpose of this link is to exchange calendar and scheduling information between different connections.

Roomraccoon

Click "Marketplace"

Under Available Connections, click on “Booking Channel.”

On iCal connection, click on the green +

Select the channel.

Select the room.

Enter the URL for the room of the channel. You can find this URL in your channel's calendar, availability or synchronisation settings. If you cannot find it, please ask your channel.

When pressing 'Next', the system will create another iCal URL that you must import into your channel. When you have done this, the calendars will communicate both ways.

Good to know - You must complete all the steps. Otherwise, the link that RoomRaccoon generates will not work. - You must update all your rates on the iCal channel you’re linking with, as RoomRaccoon takes no responsibility for costs on these platforms as we solely communicate availability.
