How to Adopt Course Materials in BookPass

**Click BookPass: My Materials**\ \ In Canvas, click **BookPass: My Materials** from the global navigation menu.

**Select Instructor**\ \ Choose **Instructor**, then click **Continue**.

**Open the Adopt Menu**\ \ In the top-left corner under **Workspace**, select **Adopt** from the dropdown menu.

**Confirm the Term** Make sure the correct term is selected. - Click **Term** next to *My Courses*. - Select the current term.

**View Submitted Adoptions**\ \ Click **View Submitted Adoptions**.

**Find Your Course**\ \ Locate your course and section, then click **Edit List** on the right-hand side.

**Search for your course materials**\ \ Enter the ISBN or textbook title (for example, *Anthology Portfolio*) in the search box. When possible, choose **EBook** format to help keep the cost of BookPass lower. You can confirm the format by checking the textbook details.

**Submit your changes**\ \ Click **Submit Changes** at the bottom when you are finished adding materials.

**Wait for approval**\ \ Your course materials will appear as **Pending** until they are approved by Follett BookPass.
