How to Apply to Volunteer with San Diego Pride & Navigate Eventeny

This guide walks you through the complete process of signing up for a San Diego Pride Week Event as a volunteer. You will learn how to submit your application, select shift preferences, and manage your application status through the portal.

Navigate to sdpride.org/volunteer and click on the link of the event or special application you'd like to apply for. Please note that medical and entertainment volunteers, and volunteers under the age of 18 will need to fill out separate applications. If you'd like to volunteer for multiple events, you'll need to fill out multiple applications.

The link will take you to Eventeny to sign up. Review the details on the page and click "Start Application" when you are ready.

If you are not already signed in to Eventeny, you will be prompted to create an account or sign in.

Once you are logged in, you may need to navigate back to the application link. Click "Start Application" again to begin.

Fill out your contact information, then click "Save & Continue"

Fill out the additional information. Make sure to change the t-shirt size and add your pronouns if you would like.

Let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or accessibility needs.

Choose whether you would like to share optional demographic information.

Click "Save & Continue"

Choose which department you would like to sign up with. You can choose multiple, as long as the shifts don't overlap.

Choose which shift you'd like to sign up for.

Scroll down and click the checkboxes.

Click "Submit"

Your application is now submitted! You can sit back and relax and wait for confirmation. If you'd like to edit anything, you can click "edit" next to the information you'd like to edit.

If you do edit anything, make sure to save!

If you'd like to edit your shift, click edit next to it.

Choose the shift you'd like to switch to.

Click "Submit"

If you'd like to check your messages, click your initial in the top right corner.

Click "Messages"

Click on the message you'd like to view.

To check your application status or edit later, click "Participate", then click "Your applications"

Click which application you'd like to view.

Scroll down and view your shift and the status next to it.
