How to Assign a Delegate for TOE Approvals

This process can also be used if you are going to be out of the office and need to have a delegate while you are out.

Log into Oracle and select the Transfer of Expense system. (***Note:*** The "test" environment is used in this example.)

To select the "Out of Office"/"Delegate" function, select your initials in the top right corner.

On the drop down menu, select the "Task List".

From the "Tasks" screen, you will need to select your initials again in the top right corner.

From the drop down menu, select "Out of Office".

Once on the "Out of Office" screen appears, you will want to select a "Start Date" and an "End Date" for the delegate to have the "Approver" role. Click on the calendar icon to select the dates.

Next, under the "Reassign to" column, select the option "User" in the drop down menu.

Next, in the "Assignee" name field, use the drop down menu to select your delegate. Once you click into the field, a drop down list will appear, or you can begin to type the individuals name.

Next, using the "Comment" field, enter in any relevant information and then click the "checkmark" icon to the right of the field.

You will then receive a confirmation that the delegation was successful.

If you need to change the delegate or the dates, etc, you can select the "pencil" icon and edit the assignment. You can also delete the assignment by selecting the "trash" can.
