How to Assign a Lead in Nutshell

Learn how to assign leads to your sales reps in Nutshell to keep deals moving through your pipelines.

There are several ways to assign leads to team members in Nutshell.

You can assign a lead when adding a new lead. Click the '+Add new' button at the top of your Nutshell interface to start.

Click 'Lead' to add a new lead.

Select the lead assignee from the drop-down menu, add the relevant lead data, and click 'Create lead.'

You can also change a lead's assignment from the individual lead's page. The assignee drop-down is in the right sidebar.

Want to assign leads in bulk? Go to your Leads list page and select the leads you'd like to assign or reassign. Then click Edit at the bottom of your screen.

From here, click 'Change assignee' in the Assignment field and select your assignee from the drop-down menu that appears.

Click 'Apply changes' to confirm the assignment.
