How to Authorize or Revoke a FERPA Release Online

FERPA stands for Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. By completing the FERPA Release form, students may add or remove authorization for designated individuals (parents, legal guardians) to access their educational and financial records.

Click **'Quick Links'** Click **'Campus Connection'** Enter user ID and Password Click **'Log In**'

Click the "**DSU eForms**" tile

Choose "Records Office"

Click "**FERPA Release**"

To give permission, select the "ALLOW release of my records to those individuals/parties identified below" option. If you no longer wish to give consent, select "Revoke the selected FERPA Releases on file at my institution."

You must provide a reason and create a **4-digit security number**.

To add another individual, click the plus sign.

Check the box to give your consent and then click "**Submit**."
