Canvas notification settings must be managed individually on the web by each user because the system does not allow district-wide control. You can adjust notifications for your entire account and for specific courses. **These settings must be changed on the Canvas website, not the mobile app.**

Manage Account Notifications

Account notification settings apply to **all of your courses** unless you set notification settings for individual courses.

Navigate to your [Canvas account](https://olatheschools.instructure.com/login/canvas).

Click on your **Account Profile**.

Click **Notifications**.

The dropdown menu allows you to manage notifications for your entire account and for individual courses.

Click on an icon to select the frequency of notifications for each course activity.
