Navigate to [go.wfu.edu/HousingPortal](https://wfu.starrezhousing.com/StarRezPortalX/DCBC5C5B/3/3/Home-Home?UrlToken=95EFB967) You will use the WFU Single Sign-on to log into your account. We highly recommend that you have already signed into your WFU Gmail account on your browser. If you have not, the sign-on will direct you to sign into your WFU Gmail account.

Review "Information Update" NOTE: If any of the information you see on this page is incorrect, you must update it in Workday.

When you scroll to the bottom of the "Information Update" page, it will ask you to list your t-shirt size. All incoming students will receive a t-shirt upon their arrival.

Information Privacy

The next page is "Information Privacy" If you would like staff members of Residence Life and Housing to discuss housing information (including, but not limited to, your housing assignments, your financial records, and your disciplinary records) with your parents or anyone else you might choose, complete the form on this page (also known as FERPA form).

Here is where you will determine if you wish to release any information and the names of who you would like to release the information to. If you select "No", then you would keep the "Release information to" sections blank.

Residency Requirement

Wake Forest University views living on campus as integral to a liberal arts education and the Wake Forest experience. Wake Forest has a six-semester residency requirement, subject to housing availability. The University strives to provide on-campus housing for residential students who have fulfilled the residency requirement and desire to continue living on campus, subject to housing availability. This page will review the Residency Requirement.

There is a section that will share about what qualifies as an exception to the residency requirement. If you meet the criteria and would like to request an exception, follow the link on this section of the Housing Portal.

Disability-Related Accommodations

Review the "Disability-Related Accommodations" page
If you have a documented disability and used accommodations in high school, be sure to complete the housing and dining accommodations request form. Some students want to try college without those accommodations and later discover they wished they’d had the accommodation from the beginning. In addition, our ability to meet a student’s needs is much more limited after housing assignments have been made, so **we strongly encourage students to request accommodations by the June 1 deadline.**

The next step is "Roommate Matching" Please take time to think about how you want to answer these questions. Think less about how you lived in the last couple of years as a high school student and instead how you might live as a college student.

There is a section that shares details about how if you have a severe allergy and need specific accommodations, please be sure that you follow our Disability-Related Accommodation process to help us best meet your needs. Then you will go through your Personal Habits & Expectations

Housing and Dining Agreement

Spend time to review the Housing and Dining Agreement before agreeing to it. Both "Over 18" and "Under 18" applications will require you to enter your Student ID number to affirm that you have read the Housing and Dining Agreements and you agree to them.
Addendum: Minor Residents in University Housing

If you are under 18, you will have to complete the "Addendum: Minor Residents in University Housing"

You will need to sign the agreement in addition to adding your parent/guardian information to have them sign the agreement in order for your Housing and Dining Agreement to be fully complete.
