How to Create A Question (Populating the Question Bank)

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to create and populate a question bank in your school portal. "Log in to your School Portal as an Admin or a Teacher"

Click the "ACADEMICS" menu-group.

Then click the "CBT" menu.

Click the "Question Bank" sub-menu

Click to select **class** and the **subject** of the class (which you want to add questions to)

Click "Go to Question Bank"

Click "Add New Question", and then click the type of question you want to add - (Single Question or Question Group)

Type in your question.

Add a Mark (score weight) the question should have

Select the type of question - (*Multiple Choice*, *Fill-in the gaps*, or *Theory*)

If you selected *Multiple Choice*, then click to select the number of options you want to add to the question.\ \ If you selected *Fill-in the gaps*, then click to select the number of preset answers you have for the question.\ \ If you selected *Theory*, then you do not need to add anything further.

For Multiple Choice question, enter the options int the options boxes displayed.\ \ For Fill-in the gaps question, enter the preset answer(s) in the box(es) displayed.

For Multiple Choice question, click the "Correct Answer" field to mark the correct answer amongst the options.

Click "Add Question" to save the question.

You may keep adding more questions to the class subject's question bank.\ \ Click "Done" when done adding questions.
