How to Create a Custom Document

Navigate to the **Documents** module

Create a **new document** or **edit an existing one**.

In the dropdown, select which document **type** you would like to create.

Add the name of the document. This will also be the subject line of the email guests receive.

Select 'custom template' in the dropdown.

Now you can either add plain text,

or add in HTML created by you or your web designer.

If you would like to use the same styling as the automatic templates, you can copy the HTML code from the automatic templates. Please follow these steps:

Make sure you are on a automatic template first.

Scroll down to the bottom and click 'show document code'.

Copy the HTML code.

Now change to a custom document.

Open 'Source' mode.

Paste the HTML code here.

If you would like to change elements in this template, you can now easily do so. First, click out of 'Source' mode.

If for example, you need to change the **Google Maps location**, double click on the google maps button.

In the URL field, paste the correct Google Maps link.

Remember to save by clicking 'OK'

When you are all done with your custom template, please remember to **Save**.
