Go to the [Checkmate Portal](https://mm.itsacheckmate.com/)

Select **"Manage User Access"** button from the sidebar

The **“Manage User Access”** button directs you to the user management page, wherein you need to select the **“Create User”** button, which is available in the top right corner of the window

Enter the basic details of the user: - First & last name - Email address - Phone number - User role, i.e., Admin/Customer

**Note:** Default permissions may vary per the assigned User Role, i.e., Admin or Customer. - **Blue colored checkbox** indicates the default permissions for the specific user role. - **A checkbox with a minus sign** indicates the default permission that has been unassigned for the specific user role.

You can also update the email preferences. Once all permissions and prefrences have been selected, click on **"Create"** at the bottom of the screen
