How to Create a Post on the Website

Navigate to [https://www.pleasantvalleysd.org/](https://www.pleasantvalleysd.org/)

Click "Login"

Enter Your Account Login

Click "Composer"

Now we will upload a thumbnail image for the new post.

Click Resources

This opens another menu to the right of the folder icon. Click "Resources" again in the new menu.

Click "Whats Happening at (school)"

Click "Public Resource" in the top right of the screen.

Click browse and find where you saved your thumbnail picture on your computer.

Once it's done uploading click "Done".

Give your image a title

In the Alt text field describe what the picture is. (This is important for the visually impaired that use a screen reader.)

Click "SAVE"

Now that your thumbnail is uploaded this is how you create the post.

Click "Posts"

Click "Boards"

Click "Create Post"

Click the "Post Title" field and give your post a title

Within the body of the post enter everything you want it to say when the post is clicked on.

Click summary and give your post a summary that will show up under the thumbnail and title.

Click "Thumbnail & Resources"
