How to Create and Delete a Facebook Event

Navigate to your business homepage.

Click "More".

Click "Events".

Click "Create event".

Click "Edit".

Click "Upload" and choose picture you want for the event header.

Click the "Event Name" to add name.

Add the date in the "Start date" field. If you have and end date, you can add that here too.

Add the time in the "Start time" field. If you have and end time, you can add that here too.

Click "In person" or "Virtual" in drop down.

If in person, add location in the "Add location" field.

Add all of the details in the "What are the details?" field. If you need help with the wording, use AI for help! (We prefer Chat GPT.)

If you have a co-host, add in the "Add co-hosts" field.

If you are selling tickets online for the event, you can add the link in the "Add tickets" field. If you are not selling online, make sure you add ticket info in the details section above.

Click "Create event".

To boost your post even more, click "Discussion".

Click "Add a Post" and make a post about your event.

Click "Share" and share with your pages and groups. Don't forget to tell us you have made an event so that we can share on our page as well!
