How to: Create contacts in Cryptio

Efficient accounting workflows require replacing complex addresses with recognizable names. This improves your transaction page and report experience, streamlining the transaction labeling process. It also aids auditors in saving time during their testing.

Bulk Import Contacts

Navigate to <https://app.cryptio.co/contacts>

Click "Contact" to open up the side bar menu and begin the import process.

Click "Import from CSV" to select your file containing contact names and respective addresses.

Tip! A best practice policy is to keep an internal list of all contacts you interact with on a regular basis or complete material transactions with. This will assist in making sure you have identified majority of your transaction counter parties.\ \ You can also download a template to use by clicking "See CSV example"

Click this checkbox to select all contacts you wish to import from the uploaded file.

Click "Import selection" to finalize contact bulk import.

Create Manual Contacts

Type the contact name and begin populating the address field. If there is already a transaction imported from/to this address, Cryptio will automatically identify how many transactions are imported.

Click "Create" to finalize the creation of the contact.

Identify Contacts on Transactions Page

Select the from or to address "0x03...ad02" that you wish to identify as a new contact.

Provide the name of the contact for this address and select "Create contact..."

Click "Create" to finalize.

Tip! Taking the time to identify contacts will assist in labeling and allows auditors and reviewers to quickly identify the transaction counterparties.
