How to Drop a Course from Self-Service

This guide provides a straightforward, step-by-step process for dropping a course through the Self-Service platform, making it easy for students to manage their academic schedules.

Navigate to [https://spcc.edu/](https://spcc.edu/)

Click "Menu"

Click "Student Panel"

Click "Self-Service"

Click "Student Planning"

Click "Go to Plan & Schedule"

Click "Drop" for the course you want to drop. \*It's very important that if you want to "add" a class to replace the dropped course that you go ahead and add the new course to your plan to ensure you can drop and add in the same transaction. Please note the following: - If you drop the class before the class started you will receive a full refund. - If you drop the class after it has started and before the census date, you will only receive a 75% refund. - If the census date (10%) mark of the course has passed, you will not be able to drop this course.

Click "Update"

You will now see the course as "Planned"

Click the "x" to remove this from your schedule

Click "Remove"

Click "Print" for an updated schedule
