How to Enter Midterm and Final Grades in BannerWeb (Faculty)

**Mid-term Grades** are required for all undergraduate students in all courses. These grades are informational and are not part of the GPA of the student.

**Final Grades** are due within 48 hours of the time the final exam was administered. If no final exam is given, final grades are due within 48 hours of the last class meeting.

**To change a grade** after it has been reported to the student, you must complete the online grade change form within BannerWeb. You will use this to change I and IP grades as well. We cannot transmit or accept any grades by e-mail because grades are confidential, and e-mail is not a secure means of communication.

Access Banner by going to <https://my.alfred.edu/> , selecting "Quick Links" and then "BannerWeb". Sign in with AU email credentials. Refer to: [How to Log In to BannerWeb](https://scribehow.com/viewer/New_How_to_Log_In_to_BannerWeb__Jyr_NVeNT5Oxu9ab2TN9bg)

Click the 4-square menu.

Click "Banner"

Click "Faculty and Advisors"

Click "Midterm Grades"

Chose the desired course from the list provided.

In the "Midterm Grade" drop down menu, select the correct grade.

Repeat the same process for final grades in the "Final Grades" tab.
