How to Install the Claude Extension for Google Chrome

Adding the Claude Extension for Chrome lets you work with Cowork to take action in the browser. Here's how to do it - and the risks you should consider when you use it.

Add the Extension

From Chrome, click "Extensions", top right.

Select "Manage extensions"

Click "Chrome Web Store", left hand side

Search for and select "Claude"

Click "Add to Chrome"

Once you are happy with the permissions, click "Add extension"

Make your cookie selection and approvals

Once you are clear on the permissions you are granting: Click "Authorize"
