How to Make a Purchase with Tangram

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on ordering from BruinBuy Plus' Tangram punchout catalog.

Access the Tangram Catalog

Select the **Tangram** tile from the Home Shopping Dashboard's *Showcase*.

Add Products to Your Cart

Navigate to the punchout catalog's **Shop** menu.

Select the desired product category from the *Catalog Navigation Menu*.

Click on a product tile to view *Product Details*.

From the *Product Details* page, click the **Add To Cart** button to add an item to your cart.

**TIP**: To preview your selection, use the **2D** and **3D** visualization tools to see the product details in a 360° view.

Check Out

To begin the checkout process, select the **Cart** icon and then the **Review Cart** button.

After reviewing and confirming your item(s), click the **Checkout** button.

Enter the appropriate Full Accounting Unit (FAU) information. Click the **Checkout** button to punch back into BruinBuy *Plus* and complete your order.

Do not close out of this page. It may take a few minutes to transfer your cart to BruinBuy *Plus*.

Review your purchase in BruinBuy *Plus*. Changes can be made to the order by clicking the **Modify** **Items** link, as necessary.

Click the **Proceed To Checkout** button.

The *Requisition Details* page now displays information for your draft requisition. Complete the standard steps to finish the requisition.

Obtain a Quote

From the Tangram punchout catalog's *home page*, click the **Request a Quote** link.

Enter your contact information into the appropriate fields.

Click the **Upload File** button to upload an image or supporting document, as necessary.

Click the **Submit** button.

Review Your Published Quotes

The ten (10) most recent quotes published to you will appear in the *Published Quotes* section of the Tangram punchout catalog's *home page*. Locate the desired quote from the list, and click the **View** button. To see a full list of published quotes, click **Show All**.

If you have access to other shoppers’ quotes, click **Show All** to review the complete list of published quotes.

Accept or Reject a Quote

From the *Quote Summary*: 1. To reject your quote, click the **Reject Quote** button, and fill out the form.

Check Order Status and Estimated Delivery Date

After an order has been submitted, it may take two (2) to five (5) business days for order details, status, and other relevant information to populate in the punchout.

Navigate to the Tangram punchout catalog *home page*, and click the **Order History** link.

From the *Orders* page, locate and click the desired **Order Number** from the *Orders* column. On the *Order Details* page, locate the **Order Status** and **Estimated Delivery** date.

Order status definitions: - **Processing:** The PO has been received and is being processed. - **Manufacturing:** The order has been sent to and acknowledged by the manufacturer. - **Delivery:** The order has been delivered. - **Invoice:** The PO has been invoiced.
