How to Manually Link a Candidate to an Employee Record

When is this necessary? If a candidate has been "Hired" and an employee record created, referral bonuses are populated based on the referred candidate's start date. This step is necessary if the email on the candidate's ATS profile is different than the one on their employee record in your HRIS.

Navigate to "Referrals" icon

Come to "Referred Hires"

Click on the candidate record that needs to be manually linked

In the referral drawer, there will be no "Connected in HRIS to" value that populates

Find the employee record you'd like to link to. \*Please ensure you are checking this is the correct employee record to link by cross-checking employee ID, especially if there are duplicate employee records or those who share the same name in the organization

Click "Save"

The candidate will now be linked to your selected employee record.

The icon on the candidate record will now switch to the Green Checkmark and the payouts for this candidate will also begin populating Due Dates.
